Chris has been involved in more than 200 conservation easement transactions. Chris served on the Board of Directors of the Colorado Coalition of Land Trusts from 1998 to 2005 and was the President of that Board from 2001 to 2003. Chris spent his childhood on ranches in Wyoming, Nebraska and Montana alongside his father who was a field geologist. He has a undergraduate degree in Geology from Colby College and a Masters in Natural Resource Policy and Economics from Duke University. Outside of his passion for ranching and western landscapes, Chris is an avid fisherman and student of western history. He spends as much time as possible with his wife Kyle and their two young daughters. |

As Deputy Director, Erik works closely with the project, stewardship, policy and fundraising elements of CCALT. He is also the organizational lead for conservation transactions in the Central Mountains. Prior to assuming the role of Deputy Director, Erik served CCALT as the Director of Conservation Transactions and Public Policy. Erik has facilitated more than thirty conservation easement transactions and secured more than $5M in grants for the purchase of conservation easements throughout the state of Colorado. Erik holds a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Management from Colorado State University and a Master of Resource Law Studies from the University of Denver. |

Barb started working for CCALT in 1997 and previously worked for the Colorado Cattlemen's Association. She is a Colorado native and oversees the finances of the organization, human resources, and daily operations administration. Barb and her husband Daryl live in Arvada, CO. | |

Alyssa is a Colorado native who joined our team in 2006. She has a Master's degree from the University of Denver in Communications and a BA in Journalism and Public Relations from the University of Northern Colorado. Alyssa is in charge of our fundraising, donor development, website, newsletters, events and database management. | |

Megan joined CCALT in 2008 after spending the past two years working for the Piedmont Environmental Council. Her background is in Forest Management and she has a Master’s in Forestry and Environmental Management from the Nicholas School at Duke University. Megan will assist in project development, mapping, and writing Baseline Inventory Reports. | |

Sharon is a Colorado native with a love for the land and the people who work for it. Her family has had farming experience in Kansas which inspired her to seek a position with CCALT. She has over 20 years of administrative experience and will assist in office management. | |

Jerod is a Colorado native who grew up on a centennial cattle ranch near Meeker. He attended Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, and received an undergraduate degree in Agroecology from the University of Wyoming. He is currently finishing his Masters in Entomology at the University of Wyoming as well. He will be assisting the project staff. | |
